Weather of Arabia - The Greater Amman Municipality declared a medium state of emergency, starting this evening, Friday, to deal with the state of atmospheric instability and the impact of the Kingdom by a five-year depression, as the weather, according to the report of the Meteorological Department, is dusty, with the expectation of showers of rain that may be accompanied by thunder at times.

The media spokesman for the Municipality of Amman, Nasser Al-Rahamneh, confirmed the readiness of the Municipality's cadres in the field to deal with any reports received by the Tla'a Al-Ali emergency room, calling on citizens, in the event of any observation, to contact the unified call center numbers (102 and 117180).

Al-Rahamneh also called for caution and caution to stay away from the streams of valleys and low areas, and not to connect the gutters of houses (the roof) to the sewage (sewage) manholes to avoid overflowing in the roads, and not to throw waste indiscriminately because it causes the closure of rainwater drainage lines.

He stressed the need to inspect the submersible pumps in the floors and shops that are below street level, and for merchants to take preventive precautions when storing goods in warehouses and basements.

The Greater Amman Municipality called on contractors and owners of construction projects to take the initiative to secure building materials in order to avoid eroding and causing direct closure of rainwater drainage lines.
